I have been travelling to Africa for the past 13 years and set up my tour company in Kenya in 2004 with Kenyan guide Isaac Kinyanjui: whose sixth sense for animal behaviour and anticipation is a massive part of the success of most of my images.
I have photographed all of Kenya’s main National Parks and Reserves extensively but have especially focused on Maasai Mara and have been lucky enough to have spent over 365 days in this wonderful place over the past 10 years. I have also guided groups in Uganda and Tanzania.
I have experience of guiding and facilitating large or small groups of photographers of all abilities.
I specialise in guiding groups of people to the amazing destinations that Kenya has to offer. My tours are designed to help you improve in many different aspects of wildlife photography, whilst also putting lots of emphasis on the environment, eco systems and fragile landscapes that we visit. Tours are designed to a very high standard, enabling all participants to get the best from my photographic knowledge and experience.
All the locations that have been chosen for these tours offer amazing, dramatic and memorable photographic experiences.
I am currently based in the UK but travel to Africa regularly throughout the year. In the past I have lived in South Africa and Kenya. My heart will always be in Africa.

Touch the Wild Photographic Tours
I have recently set up a new tour company that utilises my initial company in Kenya, and other small independent tour operators in Uganda and Tanzania. The people I work with are not just agents or tour operators, they are friends who I have built up relationships with over the past10 years.
In 2016 I will be running a number of photographic safaris to Kenya. The details can be found on the new website Touch the Wild. I will update this regularly.
