DESCRIPTION:Beginners Wildlife Photography Workshop \nLocation: Glasgow \nMy popular beginner’s wildlife photography workshop is designed for people who are new to wildlife photography and for those people who just want to understand how their camera works and how they can maximise the equipment that they have to get better images. \nMany people have attended this workshop with NO photography knowledge and often attendees have basic camera equipment. \nThroughout the beginners wildlife photography workshop I will set your camera up with you to ensure that you are simplifying the camera settings as much as possible and making you comfortable with adjusting minimum settings to get maximum results. \nThe focus of the workshop is on capturing images of common species in a different way\, so we will be photographing swans\, ducks and other water birds. DESCRIPTION:Red Kite and Osprey Workshop \nLocation: Doune and Callendar \nThis workshop we cover 2 of the most iconic and sought after species in Scotland.\n• Red Kites – Argaty Red Kites. Doune\n• Ospreys – Trossachs Osprey Hide. Callendar \nAfternoon – Red Kite Photographic Hide\nThe afternoon session will be focusing on the Red Kites. The objective here will be to capture eye catching images of the birds in flight as they feed at the hide. The hide looks out onto a beautiful deciduous woodland copse\, which provides the perfect backdrop to photograph kites against\, even in overcast weather. \nEvening – Osprey. Callendar Osprey Hide\nWe will then make our way to the next hide where we will have exclusive use (just our group) of the Trossachs Osprey Hide. The hide gives you great views of the local osprey and diving shots are possible from the hide here. On top of this Kingfisher are regularly seen and photographed from the hide and otters are seen every day. \nAs with all my workshops I will be on hand to give advice on settings and various different shots that can be achieved. The group will be a maximum of 4 people so there will be plenty of opportunities to work with everyone one on one if required. \nThe price includes the hide bookings exclusively for our group. \nThe price does not include accommodation. It also excludes all meals.

DESCRIPTION:Beginners Red Squirrel Workshop \nLocation: Doune \nIf you have ever wanted to spend time with one of the cutes animals in Scotland and learn how to capture unique images of them then this is the workshop for you. \nA special workshop targeted specifically at beginners. \nThis is a small group wildlife photography workshop\, I will be on hand throughout the morning to help you with your camera settings and leave the day with some truly memorable wildlife images. \nIt is specifically for beginners\, so for people who want to improve their wildlife photography and increase understanding of how to use their camera. \nWorkshop Contents\n• Understanding Exposure\n• Camera Modes\n• Focus Modes\n• White Balance\n• Composition\n• Exposure Compensation\n• Understanding Animal Behaviour\n• Portraits \nThe day will start with the very basics of camera set ups\, exposure and focus modes. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and ho through your camera and how it works. \nWe will spend the morning focusing on Red Squirrels\, the objective here will be to use the available light to capture interesting portraits and behaviour. We will also be hoping to capture images of the many woodland birds that frequent the hide. \nSet in secluded woodland\, this specialist 1-6-person hide gives close-up and intimate views of red squirrels and a spectacular array of woodland birds (including greater spotted woodpecker\, nuthatch\, long tailed tits and more.) \nAs with all my workshops I will be on hand to give advice on settings and various different shots that can be achieved.
