We will be looking for all of the main species on Mull but our main focus will be the opportunity to photograph Otters and Eagles on this Isle of Mull Photo Safari..
Photograph Otters along the coast of the Isle of Mull. The island is one of the best places to see otters in the UK.
Photograph White Tailed Eagles catching fish. Photograph them either from a boat with Mull Charters or from one of the many rocks on Loch na Keal.
Photograph Puffins and other sea birds on the Isle of Lunga accessed from the Ulva ferry point on the Isle of Mull.

From the comfort of the isle of mull hotel in Craignure we will explore the beautiful island of Mull in search of a wealth of different birds and mammals, gaining a fascinating insight into island life along the way with the main focus being on having the opportunity to Photograph Otters and Eagles.
With luck we will enjoy views of otters, white-tailed and golden eagles, hen harrier and short-eared owl. A boat trip to the neighbouring Treshnish Isles will provide plenty of opportunity to spend time with one of the UK’s most loved seabirds, the puffin, the short boat crossing offers the chance of seals, common and bottlenose dolphins, basking shark and even minke whale.
Over the course of the week the highlights will include:
- Boat Trip with Mull Charters for the White Tailed Eagles
- Boat Trip to the Treshnish Islands for Puffins
- Boat Trip out towards Coll for whales, dolphins and basking sharks.
- Full days on land searching for opportunities to Photograph Otters and Eagles
- Tuition and lessons on otter fieldcraft
- Opportunity to photograph Hen Harriers and Short Eared Owls
This is a fully guided small group (2 people) wildlife photography tour to the Isle of Mull. Pick up from Edinburgh or Glasgow can also be arranged for those people flying to Scotland.
In the evenings we will enjoy a delicious meal, reflecting on the days many highlights.
