Wildlife Photography – Birds in Flight
with Paul McDougallPhotographing Birds in Flight – Outline of workshop
Photographing Birds in Flight. This workshop is designed for people of all levels that want to capture better, sharper images of Birds in Flight.
It is a detailed and in depth look at how to improve your success rate of this tricky and challenging photographic technique.
Throughout the workshop I will go through the camera settings needed to maximise your success rate for images of birds in flight.
I will also cover the technique involved and what to look for in bird behaviour to help you improve your chances
There will also be a heavy focus on the best backgrounds for these images and also the impact light can have on the image.
The focus of the workshop is on capturing images of common species in a different way, so we will be photographing swans, ducks and other water birds. The great thing about this location is that there are numerous different subjects that we can get quite close to and it gives us lots of opportunities to practice things and experiment. The light at this location is also very good.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to significantly improve your success rate of capturing sharp images of Birds in Flight both flying directly at you and parallel to you.
