About the Workshops
All of my workshops are led by myself. I have 20 years’ experience photographing wildlife in the UK and worldwide. All of my wildlife photography workshops are created to help you get the best out of your camera, a lot of the content of my workshops have evolved and improved over time based on feedback from workshop participants.
I specialize in beginners workshops and especially helping those participants who are completely new to photography. All of my workshops start off with the basic camera settings and then move on to understanding light and composition.
As part of the pre workshop briefing. I provide reading material taken from my online training course to help prepare you for the day.
I offer species specific workshops for a lot of the most sought after species in Scotland. These workshops also cover any camera setting advice but also look to make the most of available light and help you to understand the species that you are photographing.
I only take a small group of people on my workshops with 4-6 being the usual number this enables me to work with the group but also give quality one to one time to all participants. Private workshops can also be arranged if required.
You don’t need to be an expert and you certainly don’t need to own a top of the range camera and lens. You can use any camera or any lens on any of my workshops.
I have tried to price my workshops competitively so that anyone can have access to them and become a participant and I believe a workshop with me represents good value.
